If you’re a fan of Chevrolet’s all-electric Bolt EV, you’ve got a lot to be excited about. Not only did the automaker release some new details about the upcoming 2022 model year, it also teased enthusiasts with a picture of an all-new member of the family: the 2022 Bolt EUV.
What’s coming for the Bolt EV
Chevrolet is still keeping most of the 2022 EV’s specifications under wraps, but it did give us an idea of what to expect from the refresh. You can look forward to updates like higher-quality dashboard materials, more comfortable seating, and an upgraded infotainment system. There’s no word yet on whether it will increase its range or battery capacity, but that’s not out of the realm of possibility.
What we know about the Bolt EUV
The 2022 Bolt EUV, or Electric Utility Vehicle, is set to be Chevrolet’s first foray into the electric SUV segment. As such, we know that it’s about five inches longer and three inches wider than the Bolt EV, which will likely translate to more passenger space and cargo room. It’s also confirmed to be the first non-Cadillac to come with GM’s groundbreaking Super Cruise hands-free driving technology.
